
Margie Lariviere
has practiced at Kelly, Herlihy & Klein LLP since
graduating from law school in 1994. She has been a partner
at the firm since 2002. Margie represents insurance
companies and claim administrators in the areas of life,
health, disability, personal insurance, credit, and
ERISA litigation. She also advises insurance companies
on policy and coverage issues.

• Obtained judgment against the Insured seeking
over $300,000 in damages in a federal bench trial on grounds
of rescission for material misrepresentation
• Defended disability carrier in federal action
based on wrongful denial of disability claim, obtaining
dismissal of bad faith, fraud and punitive damage claim
after lengthy bench trial
• Negotiated favorable resolution of complex insurance
dispute between self-insured hospital, excess insurers,
and third party administrators involving million dollar
exposure
• Numerous awards of summary judgment on ERISA
and bad faith actions
